Each hardware component has a specific job. Showing the name and purpose below helps a customer understand what is fitted inside the window or door.

Sliding Patio / Metro D-Handle	A vertical pull handle with a keyhole, used on sliding doors and larger sliding panels for comfortable pulling and locking.
Casement Cranked Espag Handle	A curved handle used on casement windows and doors; the cranked shape gives finger clearance and operates the multi-point lock.
Casement Straight Espag Handle	A straight lever handle used on casement units where a simple, standard operating position is preferred.
Flush / Recessed Pull Handle	A low-profile pull set into the sliding sash, used where the customer wants a cleaner frame appearance and less projection.
Crank / Offset Window Handle	A slim handle with an extended neck, used where the sash or frame geometry needs extra hand clearance.
Sliding Door Lever / D-Handle Assembly	A surface-mounted pull and locking assembly used on sliding doors for daily opening, closing, and security.
Touch / Pop-up Flush Lock	A compact lock built into a sliding sash; useful where the customer wants the lock to sit neatly within the frame.
3D Adjustable Hinge	An adjustable hinge used on doors and heavier casement units to fine-tune height, side position, and closing alignment.
Butt Hinge	A conventional hinge for suitable door and window configurations where a robust, visible hinge connection is required.
Locking Striker & Espag Keeper	Frame-side components that receive the lock points and help the sash close tightly against the seal.
Friction Stay / Window Hinge Arm	Controls the opening angle of side-hung or top-hung casement sashes and helps hold the sash in position.

The glass is the part of the window the customer sees and uses every day. The right option depends on the location, opening size, sunlight, privacy requirement, safety level, and outside noise.

Clear Glass — 5, 6, 8, 10, or 12 mm	Standard transparent glass for maximum daylight and clear views. Thickness is selected according to opening size, safety, and design requirements.
Clear Toughened Glass	Heat-treated safety glass with higher strength than ordinary glass; suitable where improved safety is required.
Reflective Toughened Glass	Toughened glass with a reflective surface that reduces direct views and glare while adding a more solar-control-oriented appearance.
Pinhead Glass	Textured glass that diffuses the view and light; commonly used where privacy is needed in bathrooms, entrances, and service areas.
Frosted Glass	Opaque or softly diffused privacy glass that allows light through while limiting clear visibility.
24 mm DGU Acoustic Glass	A double-glazed unit with two panes and an air or gas cavity; selected for improved sound reduction and thermal comfort.
DGU Shades — Black, Green, Blue, Brown	Tinted double-glazed options that change the appearance of the elevation and can help manage glare, subject to the approved glass specification.

Every Candida window is reinforced throughout the full length of the frame-not only at the ends. The galvanized steel channel is concealed inside the uPVC profile, where it supports the frame, helps maintain alignment, and gives the window greater stability under the weight of glass and daily use.

18-gauge steel	Approximately 1.2 mm thick galvanized steel, selected for stronger and more stable frame construction.
Full-length reinforcement	Runs through the full length of the frame rather than being limited to short end sections.
Used across the range	Applied in fixed, sliding, casement, and other Candida window configurations, subject to the approved fabrication design.
Main function	Helps the frame resist bending, sagging, twisting, and movement while keeping locks and seals aligned.
Security and safety benefit	A stronger, more stable frame supports dependable locking and helps the window perform securely in everyday use.
